Jerry Pickard, Pastor


            Jerry, a native of Unadilla, Georgia, has served as Pastor of Northside since September 1986. Prior to his ministry at Northside he served on staff at several other Georgia churches including the Associate Pastor position at Unadilla Baptist in Unadilla and Britt David Baptist in Columbus and as Pastor of Smith Street Baptist in Vidalia and Shurlington Baptist in Macon. He also was on staff as a Pastoral Intern at First Baptist Church, Dallas, Texas. Jerry is a graduate of Valdosta State University (BS in History), Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (MDiv) and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (DMin). He is married to Terri and they have three children: Jared and his wife, Bonnie, Jana and her husband, Spencer, and Jeni.


Brandon Furr, Associate Pastor


            Brandon, a native of Augusta, Georgia, has served as Associate Pastor at Northside since June 2003. Prior to his ministry at Northside he served as Youth Minister at First United Methodist Church in Milledgeville and was involved in developing and coordinating several local community youth ministries. In addition to pastoral duties, Brandon coordinates and oversees the EQUIP college ministry at Northside. Brandon is a graduate of Georgia College & State University (BS in Psychology) and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (MDiv) and currently is a DMin candidate through New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to Emily and they have two children, Bethany and Caleb.
Billy

Billy Sutton, Minister of Music


            Billy, a native of Cordele, Georgia, has served as Minister of Music at Northside since August 2005. Prior to his ministry at Northside he served as Minister of Music at several Georgia churches including, Bethel Baptist in Cordele, First Baptist in Warwick, Adrian Baptist in Adrian and Smith Street Baptist Church in Vidalia. Billy is a graduate of Brewton-Parker College (AA in Music). In addition to serving as church worship leader, Billy directs or oversees choirs for two Sunday morning worship services and one evening service, preschool & children’s choirs, the handbell choir, vocal ensembles and instrumental ensembles. He is married to Donna and they have two children, Brandi and her husband, Jamie, and Korey. They also have one grandson, Brendan. 
Taylor


Taylor Tom, Minister of Youth


            Taylor, a native of Augusta, Georgia, has served as Minister of Youth at Northside since January 1999. Prior to his ministry at Northside he served as Youth Minister Intern at First United Methodist Church in Milledgeville and was involved in developing and coordinating several local community youth ministries. During his time at Northside Taylor has served on leadership teams for youth activities sponsored by the Washington Baptist Association and the Georgia Baptist Convention. In addition, he often serves as worship leader for youth retreats, conferences and camps.  He is a graduate of Georgia College & State University (BS in Outdoor Education). He is married to Lori and they have two sons, Carson and Camden.

Lisa Spivey, Administrative Assistant


            Lisa, a native of Milledgeville, Georgia has served as Administrative Assistant at Northside since December 1986. Lisa is a product of the ministry of Northside Baptist Church and is now a vital part of that ministry. In addition to completing regular office duties, Lisa uses her position as a platform for sharing God’s love with the body of Christ and His redemptive plan with those who do not know Him. Lisa is married to Brian and they have three sons, Eric, Josh and Cole.


Geraldine Wilcher, Custodian


            Geraldine, a native of Sandersville, Georgia, has served as custodian at Northside since February 2005. Geraldine is a very important part of the ministry of Northside as she works tirelessly to keep the buildings clean and in order.  


Carol Brookins, Organist


            Carol, a native of Rochelle, Georgia, has served as musician at Northside since April 1965. Carol began as church pianist; several years later she assumed the role of organist where she continues to serve. Carol is retired from the Testing & Learning Services Department of Georgia College & State University. In addition to her duties as organist, Carol has served as Treasurer for Northside since 1988; she also serves as Treasurer for the Washington Baptist Association. Carol has two children, Pam and Bill.
